Any women with regular golfing privileges may participate in any tournament sponsored by the WAB. If the individual is not a member of the specific trophy fund sponsoring the tournament, then a charge will be made to the member’s account for the tournament participation. If a lunch is included for the tournament then the member will be charged for the lunch as well.
The Sweeps Fun Chair will submit a list of winners and prize amounts for each Sweepstake play to the Accounting Office. The winnings will be posted to each member’s Credit Account within a week of receipt by the Accounting Office. Any credit balance will remain on the member’s account until used or the member leaves the Club.
All Regular, Intermediate and Awaiting Regular and Intermediate Members will participate in the Hole-in-One Club (there will be no opt-out provision). Spouses are invited to participate in the Hole-in-One Club.
Hole-in-One Club (HIOC) members receive a HIOC card that will be kept at the Main Bar in the clubhouse. If a member decides to keep his/her card, they are responsible for it and if lost, a replacement card will be issued and marked to the current hole in one number. When a hole in one is made, come to the main bar to receive your complimentary drink and your card will be punched to account for the complimentary beverage. Out of town, don’t worry; unmarked punches can be redeemed upon your return (one complimentary drink per day).
To qualify, a hole in one must be witnessed by at least one other adult member or guest, play a minimum of a 9-hole round, and can be made at PGC or any other club or golf course, and report to the Golf Shop. The hole in one flag will be raised and signs showing the most recent Hole-in-One will be posted in the Main Bar, Men’s and Ladies Locker Room
