Driving Range: The driving range provides 11 stalls for shots ranging from 50 – 250 yards. Generally, practice shots are hit from mats, with tee holders embedded in the mats for driving the ball. Currently the practice tee is available for use “on the grass” in the high season, on Tuesday mornings and all day Thursday.
Chipping Green: The chipping green, dedicated to short iron play, is above the putting green, alongside the pro-shop. This area is mowed at collar height to insure good turf health with the beating it takes from short shots. A practice bunker adjoins the green and provides a nice practice and warm-up area to golfers.
Short Game center:
In June of 2005, the Short Game Center was opened, as designed by Dan Hixon. This practice facility gives our membership an area to work on all phases of their short game from approximately 115 yards and in. With several bunkers, a large multi-tiered green, the design has brought the feel of our current golf course to the short game area. This is a wonderful facility for our members who would like to focus on a range of short iron shots and have greater variation in their shot selection than the Chipping Green provides.
